DOTS are design floor accessories for the home interior, which have the function of stimulating the feet without the need for extra exercise.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

What makes them unique?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

They are a product resulting from<\/span><\/span>\u00a0three years of research<\/span><\/span><\/b>\u00a0in the field of stimulating floor surfaces in the home interior and exterior.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

They are made in a small family company from Slovak ash wood.<\/span><\/p>\n

Every single piece is checked by us, hand-glued and packed in an unbleached canvas bag designed by us and sewn in Slovakia.<\/span><\/p>\n

How do DOTS work?<\/strong><\/h2> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

The sets are divided into\u00a0<\/span><\/span>static and active<\/span><\/span><\/b> stimulation: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Static involves static stimulation and treading on the spot, which activates the individual points on the feet and partially engages the muscles. The static set has an extra surface treatment against moisture<\/strong> and is therefore suitable to apply next to sink or washbasin.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Where can I place DOTS?<\/strong><\/h2> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Depending on the size of the place, it is possible to determine which set is suitable to apply:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

an open space with a direction of movement from several sides will probably require a larger package, while a corridor or one-way transition space will suffice with a smaller set.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A static set (12 pcs.) is required for the place next to sink, due to the anti-moisture surface treatment.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

DOTS are sold in paper tubus of <\/span><\/span>12, 25, 36 or 100<\/span><\/span><\/b> pieces or DOTS play in paper tubus of 6, 8 or 10<\/b> pieces.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Do they stick directly to the floor or are they on a pad?<\/strong><\/h2> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

They are stuck directly to the floor with double-sided adhesive tape,\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>which DOTS come already fitted with\u2026 and they stick really well.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The adhesive tape used holds the DOTS firmly enough and there is no risk of unintentional detachment or intentional detachment by children\u2019s hands.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

If necessary, DOTS can be peeled off, and on most floors there is no trace left after their previous application (for floors with a tendency to change colour, such as wood, a colour difference with the surrounding floor is possible after a long time \u2013 the same effect as with furniture or a carpet).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div>More <\/a> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n

I wear slippers at home \u2013 are DOTS of any meaning to me?<\/strong><\/h2> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

DOTS are developed to stimulate bare feet and feet in socks,<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

by using slippers, therefore the intended stimulatory effect will not be seen or felt when walking over them. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

DOTS are not an obstacle to indoor movement when wearing slippers. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What about cleaning?<\/strong><\/h2> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

They do not interfere<\/span><\/span><\/b>\u00a0with vacuuming and even a\u00a0<\/span><\/span>robot vacuum cleaner passes over them<\/span><\/span><\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

No dirt gets under them and no hair is caught on them. DOTS are part of several households with four-legged friends and it’s fine.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The tape on the entire surface of the base prevents pet hairs from getting caught under the DOTS and holds them firmly on the floor. The surface treatment is also suitable for contact with children’s saliva and thus also those from animals. What is the advantage of DOTS over other stimulant products?<\/strong><\/h2> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

DOTS were developed with the idea that one does not have to do any extra activity and in addition to normal movement around the home, the feet are also stimulated.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Research has shown that all exercise equipment is put away after a certain time and stops being used. Likewise, sensory mats, which can be moved, are eventually moved to the edge of the room. Through constant application of DOTS at the intersections of movement inside the home, the user’s legs are stimulated several times during each day – simply each time they walk over them.<\/p>\n

The double-sided tape currently used on DOTS is not suitable for wet environments. Also, ash is a hard wood and can withstand some moisture, but in the current design, we do not recommend it for use in humid environments. We chose their material and surface treatment for indoor use. Outdoors, we recommend using a wide range of different surfaces that occur naturally there. Not at all<\/span><\/span><\/b>. As mentioned above, the application of DOTS is recommended for intersections of movement in the home.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, it is important to stick DOTS on the most frequented intersection points and so that we do not avoid them.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
